About Me

I own a coaching and training business and work as an NLP & ICF MCC Coach, Mentor Coach & Trainer in educational and organisational contexts.

I am passionate about people and partnering with them. I am genuinely interested in each and every one of my clients and their individual goals and outcomes. I firmly believe we all have that ‘edge‘ within us, the potential and resources we need to succeed. I see my work as partnering with others to make the most of the skills and resources they already have to develop their flexibility in thinking and in action so that they can open up new possibilities for discovery, learning, creativity and change.

I design and deliver a wide variety of innovative courses, programmes and trainings in Coaching and NLP for educational organisations. I also work in business organisations and offer group and individual coaching, coach approach training for managers and leaders, as well as business skills training tailored to each scenario and context.

I look forward to working with you.

How Your Words Work – Grammarously Glamorous Coaching in Action

International Coaching Week 2025

How Your Words Work - Grammarously Glamorous Coaching in Action

– Did you know that the word glamour is said to come from the word grammar and the idea of magic in learning?

– If you could sprinkle a little magic dust over the language you use with your clients, what might the impact be?

If you are interested in finding out more about the power of language and it’s impact in coaching, join me for this innovative session and add an element of glamour to your coaching style.

We’ll be looking at how simple changes in grammar and tense direct our thought processes and how as a coach, you can use your words to have greatest impact with your questions and responses.

You’ll learn to intentionally use your language to empower your clients to stop limiting themselves, start connect to their strengths and look back from a place of having already made the changes that they want to make.

We’ll also look at three questions that coaches typically ask in a coaching session and discuss a variety of empowering alternative options.

If you are a lifelong learner, keen to increase your skills in Creating Effective Coaching Agreements, Evoking Awareness and Facilitating Client Growth and curious about the 'L' in Neuro Linguistic Programming, join me for How Your Words Work -  Grammarously Glamorous Coaching in Action on Tuesday, May 13th.

Success Stories

"The coaching session with Séamus integrating the Compass Coaching Model was one-of-a-kind! This approach offers a structured yet complex blend of tools that a client needs to move forward with a challenge. It encompasses a goal, a vision, the strengths and resources, as well as the obstacles, a set of actions and next steps, and a connection with one's higher purpose and values. It is a model that can be used in both one-on-one sessions and group settings. To me it brought a lot of value, and it's definitely worth experiencing!"

The Compass Coaching Model in Action - May 2024

I experienced a Compass Coaching session today. It opened my eyes to so many possibilities.  I loved the concept of moving in a new direction for each question.  In this way, I left the previous thoughts behind and embraced new ones.  Answering the questions in my mind gave me the privacy and freedom to acknowledge my strengths and failures.  It allowed me to dream big.

Seamus asked me to 'pick up' my strengths from NE and help my weaknesses in SW.  This was so metaphorically and symbolically powerful.  I had forgotten the list of my strengths thinking about my weaknesses.  'Picking up' my strengths brought them to mind.  I used my strengths to help me work with my weaknesses.

At the end of the session, I worked with my mind to set myself up for success.  I acknowledged areas in which I would not normally have spoken aloud.  I finished the session knowing that my action plan put me firmly on the path to success.

A powerful session, using the compass as a guide to help anchor our thoughts for each question.

"Attending Séamus’ webinars during the ICF coaching week 2023 gave me amazing feelings. I find his sessions to be exceptional, i.e. of a different kind. I love the visual elements, the slides, the start up which sparks engagement, the humour in it, and the linguistic metaphors-it is lively, dynamic, and powerful beyond words. It is a lot of learning I am taking with me and I am looking forward to the next webinars from Séamus and much more."

Thank you for the inspiration

International Coaching Week Webinars - May 2023

“Séamus’s course has provided me with an amazing insight into the world of coaching and its application in all areas of communication, in both professional and personal contexts.

The discoveries and learnings gained from the carefully prepared content have been extremely valuable and have made me want to continue to explore and put into practice what I have learned about the power of coaching as a tool to facilitate growth and enable others to achieve their potential.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the skill and expertise of Séamus himself, who is a master of communication, an exceptional coach and teacher trainer, who orchestrates the whole process meticulously yet effortlessly, motivating the group and encouraging us to “climb to the top of the tree” in all walks of life, connecting with that higher purpose which we all strive for.”
